Modern Message Full Stack Engineer interview questions

After applying, received an email to do a culture-fit/personality test. Kind of silly, but ok. A few weeks later, got email from CTO to do a video chat. Video chat was with CTO and a Lead Engineer. Mostly questions about my experience and getting to know me. Interviewers were both quite pleasant. Next round was a pair programming exercise with one of the Engineers. Took about an hour to complete. Exercise was in pure Ruby (not Rails) and was similar to the various training exercises you can find online. Engineer I paired with wasn't the most personable, but not bad. Didn't hear anything for a week, so sent a follow up. Finally got rejection a month later, though I'd already written them off by then. Initial application to final notification was 3 months. Yikes.
