Originally applied for the role advertised at 29k but when the hiring manager called me I was then told actually thats top end and highly unlikely. (First Red Flag)
I advised It may be too low level and low pay for my experience but Sevda advised I should come in and see what it is like. Arranged interview. The day before I emailed to say I would not be attending as after thinking further, the salary would be too low and I really believed it was low level. I apologised and in a very polite email praised the company etc. I never got a response back to my email. This is a call centre taking 60 calls a day per employee. that combined with the lack of communication from the hiring manager made me realise I had made the right choice.
