I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mino Games (Buenos Aires) in Jan 2022
Interview
The recruiter spent a lot of time talking about perks and benefits of the company. Such as having lunch together over zoom and getting a food voucher so you could Uber lunch. She didn't mention any duties of the role itself ( I don't think she actually knew them).
She only asked me to talk a bit about myself and my work experience, so I proceeded. Afterwards she said there would be an assessment that I would get after the interview. I never got it, I followed up and she said she would get back to me and never did.
I would have preferred some transparency if they were going forward with other candidates, but nothing. I thought it was odd since it was the recruiter who directly reached out to me about the role in the 1st place. I'm aware it may not even be the recruiter, it could be the hiring manager. Nevertheless I never got a follow up, I wouldn't have proceeded to do an assignment anyway after a long delay.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mino Games in Jan 2022
Interview
It was a quick and straitforward interviewed. They gave me information about the company and the job as well as the requirementes before asking about my expierence and career goals. There were a couple questions about my expierence, knowledge and preparation. Everything went fine. I did not get a second interview because the profile I had in that moment didn't fit their project's needs and they were communicative about it, the whole process took a week or so. It was overall a good interviewing expierence even though I didn't get a job.
Interview questions [1]
