Apparently I had to be interviewed by 4 managers but only 2 got to me because the other 2 were in a conference call and couldn't get to me. The managers were very friendly and made me feel not anxious/nervous at all. Said they will call me back during the week but I haven't gotten a call back yet (my interview was 4 days ago). I feel like they won't call me back because I have no retail experience. One of the managers made it clear that I will have to prioritize Michael's over my university lectures. The previous candidate was wearing a hoodie and sweat pants vs I was wearing my business suit, since I would think that interviews were professional. The interview was conducted in the class room. Each individual interview with the manager was around 10 minutes long and then they made me wait 5-10 minutes for the next manager to come in and interview me. The whole process took me around 30 minutes. I was referred through my friend that works there which is probably why I got the call for an interview despite not having any retail experience. All the managers asked exactly the same questions and seemed like they did not interact with each other before going to interview me.
