I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Jan 2011
Interview
Hands down the best most thorough interview process around. While the process varies from person to person and role to role, I experienced multiple rounds of phone screens, six onsite interviews, and a "hack" assignment. The process moved really quickly and they were keen on letting me know next to immediately that they were going to make me an offer.

Question 1
The unexpected part of the interview process was the take home "hack" that I then had to submit back to the team for review.
difficult, they will put you through multi rounds. This is okay/good. Just come prepared and you will do fine with them. Ensure you do your research before hand. also have a personal story and why

They will ask about your life and interests, plus technical questions and a case study
organized, very systematic, very clear process and structured. Visibility into the process as a whole. Starts with a recruiter screen and then you start talking with other people in the org.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to make a decision with insufficient data
Straightforward but there is a take home assignment. People are nice. Can be a bit drawn out. You get a good sense of company and get a lot of opportunities to ask question with everyone you speak with.
