      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Medecision in Apr 2025

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted shortly afterward by a member of the HR team. The initial conversation was professional and respectful, with transparency about the company’s ongoing transition, newer leadership, and the restructuring of its go-to-market function. Although the role seemed somewhat junior compared to my previous experience, I took the interview with interest in the company’s mission and a willingness to contribute strategically during a time of change. During our conversation, I was able to speak directly about my relevant experience in healthcare, content strategy, and regulated industries. I was also asked to submit a portfolio showcasing related work, including healthcare campaigns and member engagement content. A few days later, I was informed that I would not be advancing due to a lack of “recent and relevant healthcare experience.” However, this feedback seemed inconsistent with the discussion we had and the materials provided, which included direct examples of healthcare-focused work. Moreover: There appears to be a disconnect between the role’s requirements and how candidates are evaluated. The company’s 2.2 Glassdoor rating may reflect ongoing internal alignment or leadership challenges. Advice to Candidates If your experience exceeds the posted requirements or comes from parallel industries, be clear upfront about how your skills apply to the role. Ensure there’s shared understanding around what “relevant” experience means, particularly in regulated and cross-functional environments.

      Interview

After completing a multi-stage interview process and receiving a verbal job offer, along with emailed benefit details, I was invited to a Zoom meeting to finalize the role with HR. Instead, without any warning, the company abruptly canceled the position after weeks of horrible, unresponsive communication and delays following the offer. I got a vague explanation about shifting priorities with no true accountability for the time I invested and the disruption caused. This level of instability and poor communication reflects serious internal disorganization. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from Medecision. This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the internal culture.
