I applied online to the Marriott Hotel on a Monday and they contacted me on a Thursday to come in for an interview on the next day (Friday). As I met the guy to do the interview with me, he seemed like he already had a grudge against me. After we exchanged names and handshakes, he said that he had met me prior to the interview but would not tell me where or when or if it was positive or negative. From that point on, I figured I wouldn't get the job because everything with him was short like he wasn't planning on hiring me. I bragged to a friend that I was going to get the job there and this was their exact saying, "No, you are definitely NOT getting the job. They only hire Hispanics if it isn't a managerial position." After I heard that, I thought back to my interview and realized that what my friend said could most likely be true. As I was waiting for my interview, as I sat in the lobby, I saw maybe about 5 or 6 employees, of all whom were Hispanic. The interview was also only 5 minutes long. Another indication of me not getting the job. Another thing is that the guy that was interviewing me did NOT ask any questions at all. When have you ever been in an interview where they don't ask questions?
