I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in May 2012
Interview
Went in there interviewed with the HR he explained that he was gonna give me questions like tell me about a time when.... and he wanted an actually answer not I would do this or I think I would do this. The questions he asked weren't hard. It's kind of less intimidating because they are writing down your answer while your talking so they aren't staring you down. 90 people applied for the job and it was only 1 opening so I knew I wasn't gonna get the job most likely. I did go for a 2nd interview which was the same and they picked that one person and emailed the other 89 people that applied.

Manager was easy to talk to. Store was clean. Effective interview but my broken hand took a toll on my hiring. Was taken in a timely manner. Had my questions asked honestly even if I got no offer.

Interview
It was an in-person interview where I met with one of the store managers. It was for a summer job so the questions were not very demanding, simply testing for if someone had work intelligence and could be reliable and quick on their feet.
