I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JouwWeb (Eindhoven) in Mar 2026
Interview
I have had the worst experience so far with this company. First my application was rejected saying I stay far (My CV said NL) without asking. When I responded they did not revert for a week. I messaged the lady on LinkedIn about where I live and commute is easy. The next phase I received a recruiter interview with guy called Geert .
I couldn't believe he was referring to someplace and asking questions have you done this (Yes/No) kinds. This is a senior position and they have a recruiter who does not even understand the function question. He ask me if I have experience managing support teams. I said they reported to me dotted line. When I asked him what support did it seems he was referring to Customer success as support. When the JD ask for Manager CS and you just call it something else. I did not have any questions as I did not think he would be the one given evaluation. I asked only one question on tools they use in team is it an AI-agent / chatbot he said I don't know but we use AI. My surprise is someone who doesn't even understand function, role, seniority to evaluate the primary interview. I received a rejection from him.
I got contacted on Linkedin, "my profile caught his attention :)) ", I agree to have a phone call. In his defiance i did fit every single requirement. From the start he started with the HR nonsense, why did i apply for the job ... i did not, you contacted me. Why do i want to be a developer .... i have the skills and experience. Why do i want to work for JowWeb ... you contacted me. Do i apply to other jobs ... no, you contacted me. After 15 minutes of this i ask why is it that he is calling for a job that he posted 1 month ago and 12 people applied for. I get told talent dose not apply in this day and age. After talking to him, i know why people do not apply. I thanked him and told him i am not interested.
