      Interview

Initial phone screen followed by in person interview. The in person portion was three rounds of different types of questions. Mostly typical interview questions and one more creative portion where you redesigned a webpage.

What was a time where you showed leadership?

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jet (Hoboken, NJ) in Sept 2018

      Interview

      > I was contacted through LinkedIn & scheduled for a phone interview >Had the phone interview, very basic questions -- tell me about your resume, etc etc >They sent me this crazy little game that you need to download an app to play, its their form of a test.. it was actually pretty fun so don't stress about it, but I still have no idea what purpose it served. >Finally, I got invited to the final interview in Hoboken, NJ -- they flew me out & provided a hotel stay which was very nice. When I got there the next day, I arrived 25 minutes early (requested to arrive early for an office tour) however, that did not happen because the HR rep supposed to be guiding me wasn't there and the other person taking over didn't know she was supposed to, so it was a bit of an awkward start. Once I finally got into my room I had 3 30 min 1:1 interviews with Category Managers, some of the questions I've listed below. Interview 1. 3 simple questions. Interview 2. UX case study that was pretty awkward because it was a screenshot of a web checkout of AAA batteries (I was applying for a fashion role) and it was two pictures that the interviewer had to keep scrolling back and forth at my request. Then interview 3 was a pricing case that I described below. >After my interviews I sat in the room for 5ish minutes until I was kicked out by another meeting and had to sit in the hallway for roughly 15 minutes until my HR rep came back to get me. I was then taken to a very casual panel session with the other two candidates and tow Category Specialists where we could ask them questions, but they said it wasn't part of the actual interview. Then the CS's didn't really know what to do with us after so they just walked us to the elevator and we left. >Looking back, it was a pretty awkward and unusual experience as far as interviews have gone. Overall, the company seems great, has a cool atmosphere and whatnot. I thought the interview went pretty well, but I ended up not getting the position, which I was okay with. I emailed them to get some feedback on what I could improve on, but never heard back. I really couldn't say what exactly they are looking for in a candidate, but best of luck to anyone applying!! I hope this review helps :)

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Interview 1: -Name a time you failed -Name a time you went above and beyond -Name a time you had to think outside of the box
      Answer question

      Question 2

Interview 2: UX case study about a page of batteries on the Walmart checkout page, not Jet. They were asking you what was missing on the web page and what you might change. >It had very little direction as to what they were looking for. Pretty vague so definitely study hard on what a webpage checkout looks like (especially Walmart's). It honestly just looked like a screenshot of a webpage with stuff photoshopped out lol

      Question 3

Interview 3: Pricing case study asking about if a Competitor Company sells a hat for $20 in store and Walmart sells the hat for $10 in store, how should they price it online?

      Interview

I found it to be positive and helpful. I learned a lot about the role and the culture. There were multiple rounds and I got to meet with several managers. I would recommend the role/interview process to my peers.

Seamless but challenging. The questions are geared to make you think critically while the answers are not necessarily the end goal. The more research you do the better. Good people
