      Quality Engineer (Contractor) Interview

      8 Aug 2019
      Anonymous employee
      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2018

      Interview

I was contacted online by a staffing agency for a contract quality engineer position at the company. The single interview that I had consisted of a video interview with the hiring manager, a senior quality engineer on the team, and a higher up. There were a couple of behavioral questions that I can't remember. A single technical interview question that I had about 30 minutes to solve. And lastly, some time to ask them any questions that I had. The only downsides were that this was an exploding offer. I only had a day to decide on whether or not I would take the offer. Fortunately, for me in this case, I had no other offers to consider and just took it. I also had no opportunity to negotiate the hourly pay, according to the staffing agency.
