Overall the people I met in the seven interviews I had were extremely pleasant and professional. The negative experience comes with the lack of transparency in the interview process and the poor communication from the recruiter.
First contact was made Feb 25th, my seventh and final interview concluded on May 17th and I followed up three times with the recruiter (email the following week, the next week, and finally left a VM with the recruiter) and was finally given a rejection notice on May 29th.
I felt like my time was not respected and the experience made me question the professionalism of the company. I do not intend for my review to make anyone feel bad, I know that we are all busy and things happen, but my advice to the recruiter and any recruiters reading this: you are the first impression a candidate has with the company you are recruiting for. Our time is valuable and should be respected just like anyone else's.
Advice to candidates: try to get expectations on timing of interviews and communication up front so you don't go through the anxiety I went through.
