I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Imagendary Studios (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2023
Interview
I had an interview with some of the senior artist and it was very smooth. They were very experienced so the questions were well directed and thoughtful . The interview lasted around 30 min . Nothing really particular or special

Question 1
Overall experience, and the average type of 3d skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Imagendary Studios (Irvine, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview was unstructured and a bit confusing at times. I felt as if I was expected to run the meeting rather than the other way around. For me, that part was simple because I had been on the other side of interviews like this for years. I knew what to ask and what to say but they were the ones who were supposed to be interviewing me. After the interview I didn't hear a thing. No follow up meeting, offer or rejection came. And I didn't reach out to them because regardless of their decision, my mind had already been made up. It was clear to me that far more management training is needed across the board for this place to even be a contender in the future. And even then, the lack of diversity in the studio is concerning. Their about page contains absolutely ZERO female artists. The optics are bad and easy to spot.

Question 1
Again, the interview process was so unstructured that I can't even recall the questions that they had for me other than "could you introduce yourself?"
