I applied online. I interviewed at Hong Kong Baptist University
Online interview and written test. The written test was a few days prior to the online interview and took one hour. There were 4 interviewers in the online interview. The interview was poorly scheduled, it was 20 mins late without notice. I was in the 'waiting room' on Zoom, not knowing whether I should wait there or if they forgot the interview. The HR who contacted me for the interview did not participate in the interview, so I had no idea what happened during that 20 mins. I eventually entered the interview, but some interviewers were upset about my leave from the 'waiting room' regardless of my helpless long waiting. The interview was conducted in Cantonese, English and Mandarin, it was about 10 mins.
- Written: post-related questions, require a bit of technical knowledge; Online: regular interview questions.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hong Kong Baptist University (Hong Kong) in Jun 2023
It was a zoom interview which was lead by the hiring manager. First half was self introduction and questions on previous work experiences. You have to show how you can correlate your working experience to the position you applied for. The second half was question time and the manager was welcome to answer all questions you asked about the job. He was open minded and willing to share his expectation on the candidate.

The interviewers were nice, and they asked about my master's study, research experience, and specifically about field study. They were also expecting me to know something about data analysis using SPSS.
- What was your research experience? What do you know about field experiments? What analyses can you do with SPSS?

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hong Kong Baptist University (Hong Kong)
I made application through the university's web site and received written test invitation within a week after the expiry of the job ad. An online interview was arranged about a week after I passed the written test.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hong Kong Baptist University (Hong Kong) in Oct 2022
What an awful experience! I was asked to sit for written test in short notice and no feedback was provided within reasonable timeframe. Then after some time I was informed that I did not pass the written test and thus NO interview will be arranged. Such arrangement will lead people to think someone was indeed designated for this opening and other candidates were asked to sit for tests only because the need of "fairness". Will not recommend anyone to waste their time because the written test took more than two hours.
- Some scenario questions were asked.
