I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel (Nieuwegein)
The recruitment process was very well handled. The recruiter was very friendly and supportive in the process and really helped with any questions and concerns that I had. The structure was straightfoward and nothing was incredibly difficult. First two interviews were online and then I had to do a business case at the office itself. Last step was having a short call with someone high in the organization and then having a call in which the recruiter presented the offer.
- Why am I the right fit for the job? What main skills from my past experience can I translate to this new role? What am I looking to achieve in this position?

I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel (Los Angeles, CA)
I applied for the role online and got a call from an HR rep to set up a brief screening call. The following week we did a brief 15-20 min phone call. The next was a video call with the hiring manager for the role and that was about 45 mins. Then the next round involved doing a project and then presenting it on a video call. The final round was an in person interview with 4 different team members. A few days later I received a rejection call. I then saw that the job posting has been up for over a year and that they reposted the job the following week after I got rejected. The job's compensation and benefits seemed good and their hybrid schedule was nice as well. However, I wish they were a little more transparent on how long the interviewing process would take including the project and that they gave a bit more notice on when they wanted to do an in person interview. I did not know an in person interview was required until a week before it was scheduled. Over the course of 2 months it was about approx 15 hours of interviewing including the time it took to do the project. It was pretty intense for a mid-level role. I'd also ask before interviewing how long the role has been vacant for and when they're looking to fill it. Everyone I had interviewed with was very nice and the HR rep was very responsive.
- What do you use for research? How do you stay organized?

Met with a panel of mid to sr. level management. Reviewed both my prior and current work history. Questions were generally easy to answer and the interview process was quiet easy as the panel made me feel comfortable.
- Was tested on excel skillset during interview

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Henkel (Mississauga, ON)
I was hired through a recruiter. The interview process was quite short. This could have been because it was a contract role. 3 interviews - one with the hiring manager, HR, and the GM

It is an online AI interview. You would have opportunities to practice the questions and test if your video and audio work. However, they do not provide feedback on the interview very quickly.

everything went very fast and it made me anxious which is why, I lost my concentration and confidence at the beginning of the interview. they first describe the whole process and introduce their company and activities. then start asking questions about me.
- what can you bring to our company why we should choose you

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Nieuwegein
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Henkel (Nieuwegein)
First round phone interview was very pleasant, but it only went downhill from there. Job was advertised in English, first interview was in English, but from the second interview everything was in Dutch. Conflicting information was given about the requirements of Dutch and English in the job. In fact, the requirements for the job seemed to be ever changing, as I had a completely different impression in the second interview compared to the third. Second online interview was fine. Third in-person interview was not a pleasant experience. Rude interviewer who seemed very disengaged and had very different expectations from what was advertised in the job description. In the in-person interview 3 new follow-up interviews had suddenly been added (nothing was mentioned about them before). No discussion of salary, seems they were keeping that for the very end. Interview process was not transparent or honest. They seemed to keep adding more and more interviews, changing the job requirements, and lengthening the process after each step. Seemed like a great opportunity at first but that clearly changed at the end.
- What are your hobbies

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Kiev, Kyiv
I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel (Kiev, Kyiv) in Apr 2023
It was quite easygoing but slow. I don't have much experience in completing interviews, but I passed two stages: an interview with a recruiter and a practical task. The final stage is an interview with the marketing director and brand manager.
- What do you think marketing is? What plans do you have for your future career?
