1) I applied through Welcome to The Jungle.
2) Given my diverse / mixed experience, I got an email asking for more details about my experience to understand if I made sense for the role. In the email it was made clear that my profile is interesting, but they needed more details and they explained what the role actually entailed.
3) I had a screening call with HR. It was a friendly discussion and my query about why there weren't any women in leadership roles was welcomed with no defensiveness. During this call HR explained that things may be slow because it was peak summer holiday season. Friendly discussion overall.
4) I got called in for an interview during which 1) I met with a Senior Consultant and a Program Manager (I believe). Then I was given 30 mins to do a case study based on one of their old projects. I was presented with an RFP and details about what my response should entail. I had to put myself in the shoes of a program manager and explain how I would respond to the project. I had to think about how I'd structure of the project / workplan, timelines, staffing, est. budget, etc.
About 2 weeks later I got an email saying they wouldn't be moving forward with the process.
Overall, despite the process being long, it was an agreeable experience. I believe that they genuinely consider people with diverse background because they understand they value that this can bring.
