The interviewer was nice and asked a medium-level HashMap question. It was a good experience, and the question was just right—not too hard or too easy. It helped show how well I can solve problems.

Interview
Here's a recent job interview experience I can share, keeping in mind that the specific questions and details can vary depending on the role and company:
Employer: Google
Job title: Web Solutions Engineer, University Graduate, 2025
Interview process:
The interview process consisted of four rounds:
Initial Screening: This was a brief phone call with a recruiter to discuss my background, interests, and the role.
Technical Phone Interview: This involved a technical interview with a Web Solutions Engineer, focusing on coding challenges and problem-solving scenarios.
Virtual Onsite Interview: This was a series of virtual interviews with different team members, including Web Solutions Engineers, Managers, and Product Leads. The interviews covered a range of topics, including technical skills, behavioral questions, and Googleyness.
Final Interview: This was a final interview with a senior leader, focusing on my overall fit for the role and the company.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (Bengaluru) in Sept 2024
Interview
They give extremely easy questions to some candidates and literally asked hobbies and then went about selecting them. Pathetic interview standards. They don't follow their own interview standards of not asking anything apart from DSA.
