I applied through university. I interviewed at Fresenius Medical Care (Lawrence, MA) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview was 1 hour with the director of product commercialization (15 min), the recruiter (30 min), and 2 data scientists (15 min). They said they may be changing the interview process though. With the director he asked more about my previous co-op experience and "why should I hire you" type of questions very quickly to fit in 15 minutes, not much job explanation. The recruiter explained the job and asked general behavioral questions not related to ML. The 2 data scientists asked more technical questions about ML and data, previous experiences and projects, and more case-study questions. The interview was only a little confusing because each meeting was right after the other and the interviewers themselves seemed confused about the interview process. I have not heard back from the company yet (this interview was recent)

Question 1
Why should I hire you? Can you tell me more about your previous co-op? When was a time you had two differing opinions on a project and how did you handle it? Can you tell me more about the project on your resume?
I applied online. I interviewed at Fresenius Medical Care
Interview
Two interviews which included a phone screen And then a panel interview usually in the clinic. Can be intimidating, but offered different perspectives. I was given the time to ask my questions without feeling rushed. Felt very supported during the interview process without delays.
