Interview
Initial HR Screen, 30 min video call with SVP of Product, Strategy and Partnerships which went well. Next interview was postponed twice, and eventually was a 30 min call with Chief Product Officer. CPO joined the call late and ended it early. There was a strange, almost confrontational tone to him overall. I didn't feel it went well and I followed up but was ghosted at this point. After the runaround, disrespectful approach by the CPO, and then being ghosted, I wouldn't apply here again unless there was a CPO change at some point.

Typical tell me about a time type questions with focus on developing product strategy, working with stakeholders, using research and data.
Had a scheduled call with a recruiter, but they didn't call at the scheduled time. She blamed it on their scheduling software. The call ended up getting rescheduled and was pretty standard. The interview with the hiring manager went relatively well. However, the recruiter never followed up with me regarding status updates (even after multiple emails requesting an update) and I never received a rejection email. Overall, the experience was poor.

My recruiter was really bad, a horrible communicator didn’t call at the originally scheduled time even when I tried following up twice, suggested a different role from the one I applied to, gave great feedback based on the suggested role, and then told me she was going to connect me with the hiring manager and then proceeded to ghost me for over 2 weeks. I gave up on Forsta long before finally receiving a generic rejection after being told I’d be connected with the hiring manager. This is a really bad look for Forsta and incredibly unprofessional. Hopefully not all recruiters are this disorganized and confusing at Forsta, but this gave me a bad impression of the organization overall. Don’t waste your time if your recruiter seems incompetent.
