I applied online. I interviewed at FlightSafety International (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2026
Interview
I interviewed for a Lead Data Engineer role and went through multiple rounds with technical and leadership interviewers. The discussions focused on data engineering architecture, data quality frameworks, and governance practices, which align closely with my current role as a data quality engineering specialist.
After completing the interview process, the feedback provided was that I “lacked depth in the required skills,” which was unexpected given that the topics discussed are part of my current specialization. Within a few days of receiving this feedback, the company posted a new role for a Lead Data Quality Analyst with requirements very similar to the experience outlined in my resume and discussed during interviews. The process left the impression that the role expectations may not have been clearly defined before interviewing candidates.

Interview
There was not an opportunity for me to ask questions during the interview or at the end of the interview because of the number of questions I was asked during the panel interview. The interview felt rushed.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FlightSafety International (Farnborough, London, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
Straight forward questions and good company impression as interviewed by friendly company representative. So far smooth inveterview and everything is going well. And no further action need to follow up.
