I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fast Enterprises in Oct 2020
Interview
I was recruited at a career fair and the only things that seemed to qualify me for that was a GPA over 3.0, a major in math, and interest in relocating every 2-3 years. The interview process combined lots of behavioral questions and problem solving in both components.
The first interview was about 30 minutes and had a recruiter and a current implementation consultant. It felt very robotic which made me nervous but I guess I did well. There were some weird questions that turned me off from the job like "we work with boring stuff like taxes sometimes, how do you keep engaged?" Other than that they wanted to make sure I knew about Fast and their products and were willing to relocate. At the end there were 2 coding questions where I opened a word document, shared my screen and walked through pseudocode. One question was about determining whether a number was prime and the other was listing the first 100 prime numbers given that function. They also asked me my preferred salary in this interview. The most important things seemed like being prepared for the interview and coding questions.
The second interview took about 3 hours. A travel coordinator facilitated the interview . There was a 30 question 30 minute mensa test that they say is just a "warm up activity" but I doubt it. Then I talked to a project lead who asked me a lot of behavioral questions and the process was very conversational. We talked about mutual interests and it seemed like the interviewer actually wanted to get to know me. Last there were several problem solving logic questions that they want you to explain as you figure it out. I think that these are very important to your acceptance, but I also think that being conversational and communicative is important because this is a consulting job. They ask if you are willing to do overtime and relocate. My interviewer was happy that I had questions to ask at the end.
It was a very quick process. I recieved a reply back within first two days of applying and scheduled a phone screening within a week from the email. Recuriter asked pretty average questions.
