Went through three interviews (recruiter, current team member in the same position and the owner) and then was asked to provide work samples, which is when things seemed to change (went from a open, transparent and warm process, to inconsistent communications, lack of clarity and lack of transparency). I was asked to provide work samples, which I had asked if I could take a different approach via google slides, which I did not receive an answer for 3-4 days. I went ahead and put something together anyways, and sent it over. I then got a response saying they would get back to me soon, but they did not acknowledge my questions from the previous email, which was fine. I did not hear anything for almost a week, which is when I restricted their access to my work. I then heard back about 9 days later, asking for access to my work, which I provided and a few days later, they had said that the organizations needs had changed.... This was pretty odd and I haven't experienced this before, as they wanted access to my work and then a day or two later say that their needs have changed, after going back and forth for about 3 weeks. They have posted the role again now and have not acknowledged my application, as I have my own story on this whole situation, but I would have loved to hear back from them to validate some of this.
