      Energy Analyst Interview

      12 Apr 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Vancouver, BC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Energy Profiles (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2021

      Interview

3 steps with hr, the team and the leadership team with a couple technical problems involving water and electricity meters, very good communication from them along the whole process. Seems like there is quite a bit of emphasis on alignment to company culture

      Energy Analyst Interview

      4 Jan 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Energy Profiles

      Interview

The interview process was fairly good. HR provided clear communication throughout the process which was much appreciated. The first interview was with HR - tell me about yourself, why are you interested in this position and then a walk through your previous experiences (resume). The second interview was with the manager/direct report-mostly technical questions related to energy and GHG emissions such as defining the scopes, how to calculate emissions, and technical situation-based questions. The third interview is with the broader team where you will meet with several departments and managers.

      Question 1

      1. Tell me about yourself.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Energy Profiles

      Interview

Comprehensive interview process and a great experience meeting different people at the company. The first was a phone interview with a recruiter, and the second was an interview with the would-be supervisor.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

In the first interview by phone, they asked about a range for salary expectations. There were questions about my work experience and the "tell me about yourself" question. In the second interview, they asked about what skills I bring to the job, why I want the position, and what I know about the company.
