I applied online. I interviewed at Employsure (Sydney)
Interview
Applied online through the company website. Received a call back a few days later for an initial screening. From this I progressed to a phone interview. This interview was about getting to know more about me and my experience. They also wanted to know what I knew about the business. Be sure to familiarise yourself with the business through the website.
Went on to a face-to-face interview with the Advice Services Team Leader and State Manager. They asked me general interview questions like "Why do you want to leave your current role? Why Employsure?" From this I was given 10 minutes to read an advice scenario. You need to identify the problem and state how you would advise the client. Don't stress about being 100% perfect in this, I felt like they just wanted to see my ability to think on the spot and apply logical reasoning behind my response. Once we started chatting about my response they threw some curve balls at me like "What if this happened, then what would you do?". The company website has case examples that I found helpful to think back to when trying to respond.
Overall the recruitment process is amazing and so professional! At each stage they asked me for my feedback, which seemed really valued and showed their commitment to continuos improvement. I only turned the opportunity down as I was offered a promotion.
