I only had one call with the company. It was an initial HR interview with Martina.
Actually everything was pleasant, very sympathic conversation and a lot of intel regarding the position include the bonus scheme and day to day eventhought this info ain‘t to be expected at the HR call.
However after the call I got professionally ghosted. I followed up with Martina on LinkedIn and via Email. I also reached out to Patricio who initially set me up with Martina. Nothing. No response. No feedback. Just vanished.
Very very sad and unprofessional. In an era where we have the power AI and tools to help us be more organized this is just a huge failure and disrespect with a candidates time.

Interview
I went through 2 levels of interview.
The interview went well and they even told me I’m a “strong candidate” and I should start thinking about my work permit already, but 2 weeks later I never heard back from them.
I would understand if they found someone else and sent a rejection email but ghosting someone after an interview feels so off. I gave my best effort for the interview and I can’t even be given a bare minimum reply.
It’s 2026 are we still ghosting applicants?
