I did not even apply to this job. I was sought out by the front desk assistant through LinkedIn, so I thought I would make the long commute to give this a chance since they must've thought my resume was impressive enough to reach out to me for the position. My mistake was not asking for a phone screening first. First part of the interview was speaking to the front desk assistant, who did not know much about the job, but simply wanted to know a little bit about me and my background (she was really nice), then I interviewed with the marketing team (2 ladies) and was asked to read through an RFP and write a technical approach to the RFP's project, followed by an interview with the CEO. The trial caught me off-guard so I did not deliver my best. At this point, I had made peace with the idea of not getting the job, I was just glad I did not give up and at least went through with it. However, the interview with the CEO was enough to either light a fire under me to look for a job ANYWHERE ELSE or to stop looking because she made me feel worthless. It was incredibly unprofessional. She kept making disapproving smirks, a lot of hmmm, and when asked what my salary requirements were and I answered, she waved my resume in the air and said "THIS is not worth that much". Good luck if you have the chance to interview here. Go with low expectations.
