This company regularly posts Executive Assistant roles and though I've applied many times over the past few years, I've never once been contacted by a recruiter or a human for even a polite rejection. Everything is very impersonal and automated. I feel like they have these roles open all the time which suggests to me they have a high turn-over rate. I will no longer be applying at this company. They need major improvement with their candidate's interview experience even down to the application process.

Other Executive Assistant interview reviews for CrowdStrike
The interview process was really drawn out. It was almost 2 months between first conversation with recruiter and final decision. Had to wait and follow up multiple times before I received any word felt like I was being strung along as they considered other candidates, not sure they would have contacted me at all if I hadn’t been so persistent. I was told I was a strong contender and well liked by the whole team but no offer.

Question 1
Mostly, they used typical situational interview questions. Not very dynamic.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2023
Interview
They reached out to me. I declined to interview and then they reached out again. I interviewed with a few people from HR and then interviewed with the interim Chief of Staff - not sure what she called herself as she had two titles. She was one of the worst interviews I have ever have. She was impatient, rude and condescending. She kept inferring that she was the decision maker. I honestly felt like she had someone else in mind for the job, maybe a friend, so why reach out to me twice? She was distracted while I spoke, and did not look at the camera. After the call and told the HR rep I was no longer interested.

Question 1
Really dumb questions regarding how I could handle for the exec I would be working for. Since I have not had any experience in working with that exec or even knowing who they are or what they want out of an EA how would I know? EA's need to speak to the exec before they move on, that is key. It is a personality match. She should know this. And what superpower do you have? Seriously, next time ask what tree would you be.
