Covered (DENVER) interview questions

The interview appeared to go well and my background aligned strongly with the role. I was explicitly told I would hear back within a day. That follow-up never happened. Despite sending a follow-up message, I received no response. The complete lack of communication suggests either poor internal coordination or a disregard for candidates’ time. This was especially disappointing given that I applied with a referral, which should carry an expectation of basic professionalism and follow-through. Due to the silence, I accepted a similar position elsewhere. If this is indicative of how communication is handled internally, it raises concerns about the broader culture. Candidates deserve clarity, even if the answer is no.
