I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Fort Collins, CO) in Jan 2023
Interview
One interview with potential supervisor, about 8 questions. This was followed by extensive background checks, fingerprinting, etc. The interview was conducted on Zoom, and took about 45 minutes, an employee of similar level as the position to be hired was also on the call, but didn't contribute any questions

Interview
I was emailed about an interview 2 weeks after I submitted my application and scheduled an interview for the following week. I received an email asking for a second interview next week and I’m still waiting to hear. The interview process was fairly easy. For this position the interviewers were trying more to feel out how you would fit in with their team. They would ask questions regarding how to handle conflict, strengths, and your writing skills. In the interview process I would say one of your strengths is being flexible and adaptable.

Interview
The interview process was fairly seamless. I was asked a few basic questions, mostly around my research experience. However, some of the questions seemed to be unrelated to the job posting. To be specific, the position I applied for was supported to be more implementation based (to my understanding), but the interviewers seemed more interested in my research capabilities.
