I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Beyond Better Foods (Wilmington, NC) in Oct 2024
Interview
READ ALL: Had a 30 minute phone call interview talking about the basics with HR.
Made it through that one and then I talked to the Marketing Manager and it went very well, we were basically friends by the end of it!
AFTER this is where it got rocky, they had a ton of applicants and assigned a lengthy project. They had me do a whole campaign for one of their products for a fake new flavor, that took me about 2 hours. The second part was what took me around 4 hours, it was an influencer project and finding a number of them with a budget and reasoning behind it, I worked very hard after my normal 8 hour work day to get this done in a day and a half, just for them not to reach back out for a whole week after I say something about this application process and my status. They denied me with saying my work history aligned with the job. No other reasoning, I lost full respect for this company that I was very excited about since my resume and my personality fit well with them,
