First around: Online Application
Second around: Telephone Interview with Hiring Agent
Third Around: In-person Interview with the Centralized Hiring Specialist
I am a recent graduate and have no previous working experience with BMO Financial group. I amplified through regular online application.
As mentioned by others, BMO partners with Aon for screening. I got a call from the agent, set a phone interview time, and took it. The phone interview was around 30 minutes and the agent told me right away that she would forward my profile to BMO. Questions included basic background info: work authorization, language background, etc. This is basically a sales position so the behavioral questions are all sales related. The agent asked my salary expectation at the end as well.
I had the onsite interview the next day. The process was similar, with an extra situation-base question. The interviewer did not ask my salary expectation at that time, and told me that she would be in touch soon.
As far as I know, they have a target for candidates from a specific language background, at least for this round of hiring.
I guess the final round is a meeting with the branch manager but I did not get to that. The hiring specialist told me that as I have no previous banking experience, it is difficult to position me in a branch, especially against internal candidates. It helps even to have some CSR experience.
