Interview
Interview for Network Engineer – Government Contracting (DoD/Navy)
The process took about 2½ weeks from recruiter contact to offer. First was a quick phone screen to verify my active Secret clearance, required certifications (Security+, CCNA), and willingness to travel 50–60%. The technical interview over video covered Cisco switching/routing, wireless troubleshooting, firewall rules, VLANs, and DISA STIG compliance. A short call with the government program manager followed, focused on communication skills and prior secure-environment work.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at B.E.A.T. (San Antonio, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
About ten of us were selected and joined the call. We were mainly asked behavioral questions and a few about our experience. Overall, the interview wasn’t too difficult or technical.
