I applied via Otta and received a message asking me to book in for an initial chat in the calendar, this was easy and simple. The interview was laid back and consisted of asking about my background, how my experience relates to the role, what I knew about the company and what questions I had. There was 30 minutes booked but it took 45 and seemed like it went well. The process sounded lengthy and involved a case study and a presentation and further meeting of the board. Also there was no transparency regarding salary. I was asked if I would like to proceed to the next stage and receive a case study to work on, to which I agreed. I followed up on email to thank for their time, and then again when I hadn’t heard back. I never heard from them. They are a small start up but they should at least be taking the time to let people know they were unsuccessful, so this was very disappointing.
