I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Arup in Dec 2015
Interview
Went straight from an online application to a face to face interview. Was asked to complete a personality test beforehand but this wasn't discussed at all during the interview. The interview began with a brief introduction to the company from a HR person. Was given two very similar non-technical tasks and asked to complete one of my choosing in the space of half an hour. I was then interviewed by a director and senior engineer for at least an hour, during which my responses to the task were discussed. Was shown around the office by a recent graduate and then the interview concluded with the HR person going over some final details.
Online questionnaire followed by in person panel interview. The interview was mainly behavuoural and personality focussed with some mock situation questions. No technical questions asked and the interview was peofessional but not much pressure.
