An AncestryDNA recruiter reached out to me online for a position in the SF office. I took a software coding test online, talked with a manager on the phone, then got invited to come into the SF office for a few hours to interview. I was invited back a second time a week later, then got an offer which I accepted.

The conversation went well and felt engaging. The candidate communicated ideas clearly, showed practical understanding of security concepts, and asked thoughtful questions. Overall, a positive interaction with strong potential for the role.

Interview
I met with the hiring manager. Questions were asked around Java and overall background. Followed by meeting with the devs from actual team where I was asked about my background experience as well and technical questions. I was able to asks questions by the end of each interviews.

Interview
A Phone call with the recruiter, One round with an engineer and then an onsite (Series of zoom calls) with the team. Pretty straight forward and quick process. Asked a lot of technical questions and very specific questions about past experience, project complexity.
