      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Nashville, TN) in Jan 2011

      Interview

I am going to be completely honest here with their interview process; if you jump through a few hoops and give intelligent answers; they will hire you. It is very easy to get hired, if they do not hire you, they probably don't like you.. This is how the process begins. You will get a phone call from a hiring manger. The will say something about finding your resume on the internet and ask you a few questions then they will schedule a time and date for you to come in for an interview. After the phone call you will be excited and slightly confused about what you just interviewed for. You may do some research, you may not, but I suggest you at least go to the interview, this is a perfect opportunity for some people. You will sit in a lobby of some kind with several other people and wait, but not for long. You will have whats called a "one-on-one" with someone in management. The two key questions here that they ask you is: What are you looking for? What are you looking to avoid? These two questions, at least for me, always determined whether or not this person will be a good fit. If you say I do not like sales, commission or working nights, you will not make it to the next part of the interview process. So the group interview is basically an overview of the company and opportunity. You will know just about everything you can know before getting hired at this point. After this you will have another "one-on-one" with someone in management they will answer any and all questions you may have, then schedule a final interview right then or you will get a call later that day for schedule the final interview. Now the final interview. I'm simply going to list the questions they ask here; because to be honest, if you make it this far and don't say anything ridiculous, you will get hired. You will meet with either the MGA or RGA and he/she will ask: What is the minimum you need to make to get by? What do you want to make to live the life you want to live? Why should I not hire you? Why should I hire you? Then they will do what's called the "take away," basically the philosophy behind this is a person always wants what they can't have, so they will say some things to make you feel like you make not get it, just play along. Finally they will probably leave the room for a few minutes to "consult" management and to make you sweat it out for a few. Then they will hire you! Yaaaaay and congrats!

      Interview

The interview process is very concise and usually begins soon after watching a company overview to determine if you still wish to proceed with the interview process. After the interview is over, a mutual agreement is made.
