I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ace Hardware
Interview
I had a phone screen with an HR rep, then was told I was to interview onsite with 3 people. They told me I needed to pick a category and conduct an analysis and create a presentation about the strengths and weaknesses of the category. There was no direction, just that. I did what they said, created a PowerPoint, presented in the interview and was told I would hear back in a few weeks. I never heard anything, followed up with HR, still nothing. I was basically ghosted by Ace, didn't even receive a curtesy email saying they were moving forward with another candidate. I understand there are a lot of people interviewing but if you have someone come in person to interview and give them HOMEWORK on top of that to prepare for the interview, the least you can do is respond and tell me I didn't get the position.
