I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Accenture in January 2020.

    Interview

    3 parts:
1st- online assessment: some math questions, graph reading, and situation questions- nothing difficult
2nd- phone screen with recruiter. They ask you about your location preferences, and just talk about you and accenture and the role you are applying for. Very conversational and easy going
3rd- Final interview with associate director: has 3 parts; technology showcase, client challenges and strength based questions.
Technology showcase- make a 10 min presentation on a leading technology and how it can be used in an industry (they give you the details before hand)
Client challenges- you are given scenarios and are asked how you will handle them. I had 2
Strength based questions- behavioral type questions. I had 10

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Accenture (New Orleans, LA (US)) in November 2019.

    Interview

I applied in early September, went through an initial phone screening with a recruiter, an online personality and basic skills test and a final 1:1 virtual interview. The interview process was long but good. It was frustrating that by the time they were ready to extend me an offer they only had positions available in cities I was not interested in. Need to apply even earlier than fall for jobs the next summer/early fall, particularly if you are not from an Accenture 'target school', if you are not from a target school you will work with a different recruiter than other applicants.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Washington, DC (US)).

    Interview

Phone screen and 3 rounds. General phone screen. First round after the phone screen was a behavioral phone interview. Next two rounds were condensed into one day (but that might not always be the case). Second round was a case interview. If you make it to this point, you’ll get a study packet. Review. Learn how to actually solve problems, and not necessarily just try to come up with a solution. Third round is another behavioral type interview in person.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Accenture in August 2019.

    Interview

One HR interview just going over basic information. A more technical interview where they asked questions about previous projects. This part was not too difficult except the person I had interview me had a very heavy accent, so it got awkward and frustrating when I would have to ask three times what they just said. After that they give you a case study interview, where other people said they had hours to prepare, they scheduled mine two hours in advance. Now granted I could have said I would like to re-schedule since I had such short notice, I said I would do it anyway. This was relatively easy and just required basic critical thinking abilities.

    Interview

All rounds of the interview process were digital. First round of interviews was a basic screening phone call with a recruiter. Most questions asked were related to whether I understood what the job would entail, and which area of Accenture Technology I would most be interested in. I would take note No real questions about my resume or skills, other than asking why I wanted to work at Accenture. This interview lasted about 30 minutes.

Second round was a technical interview, which was over the phone and set up at the end of the first interview for a few days later. While this interview is called a technical, I mostly got a few behavioral questions about leadership scenarios. The most technical it got was a resume overview where I was asked about my familiarity with certain skills I'd listed and to elaborate on some of my noted projects. So long as you're able to explain your resume, you should be fine here. This interview lasted about 25 minutes.

After about a week I got an email from my recruiter asking me if I was still interested in the role, and they set up the final round. The last round had a case interview and confirming interview back-to-back. The case interview was meant to be a video interview, but my interviewer was having technical difficulties so it became a voice-only video interview. I have never done a case interview before, but my recruiter sent me a PDF detailing how a case interview works along with examples. The case interview lasted about 25 minutes.

The confirming interview happened via phone call about 10 minutes later. This had a couple more behavioral questions, but beyond that my interviewer just asked me if I had any questions. This lasted about 15 minutes.

I would make sure to have questions to ask at every step. While each of my interviewers did not have the role I was applying for, they made sure to ask if I had any questions and answered them to the best of their ability. Make sure you do your research on how Accenture is organized as you will likely be asked about it. During the first interview the recruiter will explain more about the organization, and I would strongly advise writing this information down as a future interviewer may ask about that info. I relied on my memory for how the departments in Accenture Technology are organized and believe my response suffered due to mixing up details. I would also make sure to look into how a case interview works long before it is scheduled for you if you have never done one before. Their PDF is helpful for basic information on them, but it is better to get example cases from the internet and practice from them. Lastly, I would write down the names of your interviewers at every stage -- I was given the names of each interviewer whenever I was scheduled an interviewer, but always had a different interviewer call me in every stage except the first interview and confirming interview.
