I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Milan) in Nov 2008
Interview
1 - Phone interview with external recruiting agency. Very brief, they just explained the position and set up the a 1:1 interview with them about a week later
2 - 1:1 Interview with external recruiting company. About 1 hour. I talked with only one person that resonably knew technology jargon.
3 - About a month later (no other contact neither from Accenture nor from the agency in the meantime), I've got a call from Accenture for a 1:1 interview in their office.
4 - Brief call with the Accenture executive if whom I had the interview a week before to align expectations
5 - 1:1 interview with Accenture executive. About 20 minutes. He briefly explained his position, some project examples and made a few general questions about my experience.
6 - After 1 month I've got an email from Accenture with a job offer, sallary and proposed start date.

Tell the reasons I was the best candidate for that position and convince then that I would be working with them for a long time.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Accenture (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2015
Interview
The process depends on how you're being brought in. Most newbies would have more levels of interviews. Transferrees would have around 2. If your name resounds well within the organization, you will have this as formality. At the end of each process, a Managing Director will close the process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Accenture (Paris) in Apr 2014
Interview
Recommended by an internal employee, the process took a dreadful 6 month, from HR call, to HR meeting on site, to manager interview and final round.
They made me wait 6 month to do the final interview and final offered either to go work in another city or either to cross fingers and see if any position would free up in the current office I applied to: end result, no offer, wasted my time and money.
I never seen such a disinterested HR who I had to call back every 2 weeks to get things moving.

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Accenture in Jul 2010
Interview
I was given a case study around a telecom company trying to make inroads with their Broadband offerings even as continental competitors will soon be entering the UK market pushing their ADSL offerings. The company is also facing challenges with managing their provisioning systems to promote better and effective "speed to market" propositions as also integration with other monolithic legacy systems.
