Brief telephone screening, with no digging into my experience. From that they sent me a rejection saying they had gone with candidates who had more strategic experience. As they didn’t even ask about my experience, and I’ve loads of strategy experience in their space, bit of a shocker. Even more so when 1 hour later they were re-posting the job on LinkedIn, looking for new candidates.
So errr, there weren’t other candidates with more experience with me then? And they lied about the rejection reason. If they could just be honest, and not toss out generic, false rejections, I’d have so much more respect for them.
