The interview process was confusing from the start as they seem to have a quite high turnover rate even within the human resources department. I talked to three difference hr officers as they kept resigning. Written questionnaire was very outdated and seemed irrelevant to the work I was applying for.

The company called, unexpected, without mentioning the name of the caller, and neither the companies name.
Caller: You applied with us. What is your expected salary?
ME: Who is calling please?
Caller: Avoided to mention the name, and asked again: What is your expected salary?
ME: Who is calling please?

ME: Bothered, from having the same (and only) question again and again I gave him a realistic range for somebody of my education and experience.
Caller: Thank you. (and immediately hang up the phone)
I called the mobile number back - by using a different number. So I learned that the guy was from Abatek. He promised to call back later, but that never happened.
Just out of curiosity. I was interviewed by a headhunter for this position, (few weeks later). And learned about the expected salary of the company, which could be described as very low - even for foreign craftsman, located in Thailand. In any case not appropriate for a foreign university graduate. Salary (acc. to headhunter) 70000THB = 2200 USD = 1800 EUR per month.
While writing this, the vacancy seams to be still open but is now called Senior Project Engineer
- Bachelor degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Male or Female, age 30 years up
- Minimum 3 years experience in electronics products/components (in Automotive Industry would be an advantage)
- Leadership in project management & negotiation skill
- Good knowledge in ISO/TS2 213.8216949 requirement
- Good command of written and spoken English (German or Chinese would be an advantage)
