3M Engineering interview questions

Typical college career fair recruiting process: talked to a rep, applied online, got an interview on campus. However, I didn’t hear back one way or another for months. There was pretty poor communication. The HR processes were being transitioned to a new system at the time.

I applied online and then completed some psychometric tests. I was invited to do a phone interview a coupe of weeks later which was very casual and asked behavioural questions, i think to see whether or not i would fit the culture. I was then invited to an assessment centre which was a full day of 'activities' with 7 other candidates. We each had to do a presentation for 15 minutes after being given 1 hour preparation time. The presentation topics were simple. We also had to re-do the psychometric tests, we had a site tour, a short talk from the graduate manager and a group activity. I was then invited to a second assessment centre which consisted of 2 interviews, a technical exercise and a site tour. This was all very casual also. The people were very welcoming and made me feel at ease.
