Does MAERSK offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Great package for employee benefits and bonuses.

Cons

Work life balance is a bit challenging but I guess that varies on the type of customer assigned.

Does MAERSK offer dental insurance?

Pros

Good company to work, the company most of the policy is employee friendly. Companies promote to open for another opportunity within the organization.

Cons

It's very very tough to move from the Manager position to another level which is GM unless you have Godfather or are very good at buttering. In name of diversity lots on nondeserving candidates are getting promoted and ignored which lead to increase in job ternover ration. Corporate insurance policy is not very good flat amount for all employee and parent coverage is very expencive as compare to other corporate policy.

Advice to Management

Your promotion process from JL4 (Manager) level to higher is not good, there is lots of issue with the carrier progression level for deserving candidates whcih lead to leave company. Please do not use diversity to promote non deserving candidate to next level just to increase % ration. In another way you are encoraging quota/reservation system where if you belog to certain gender/race you will get place (having quality of buttering).

Corporate insurance policy is not very good flat amount for all employee and parent coverage is very expencive as compare to other corporate policy.

Pros

Very capable individuals and great benefits including pension and good that company is and was on a strong footing commercially

Cons

Horrendous IT outsourcing arrangements, every formal agreement/decison seems to be ignored or overturned without consequence - too many proceses and tools - need to simplify and get closer to business... complete lack of leadership - time to get some long term thinking as leaders in

Advice to Management

Time to really live the values.
