Does HSBC have a pension plan?

Pros

Flexible working hours, can work from home, good pension contributions. Worked with some very nice people over the years.

Cons

Frequent restructures, lots of roles going to cheaper locations can limit career opportunities. Communication during significant changes can be inadequate .

Advice to Management

Speak to people who actually do the jobs directly about changes and ask for input instead of making decisions which sometimes are a short term cost cutting exercise.

Flexible working hours, can work from home, good pension contributions.

Flexible working was the norm even before the pandemic Good benefits package such as life insurance and private health care 7% match pension Good colleagues to work with

Cons

Older and more expensive staff are too often let go when cost cutting targets are demanded High turnover in many departments where staff are viewed as commodities rather than individuals with a combination of skills

Advice to Management

Get a better understanding of which senior managers are responsible for creating staff loyalty and keep them
