Does CROSSMARK offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Fairly simple management position-when systems are working correctly.

Cons

As a club supervisor, they put all the work on you. You have to complete all of the paperwork, scheduling(which is done on an outdated and difficult to use system), set up the workers carts(up to 25/day which is extremely time consuming)do the deep cleaning, organizing, stocking, be in the store on a very set schedule(have to be in store 10-630/930-7 on weekends, no working from home unless it’s on your time!) Sams club management will request more reports/tasks from you as well...and it is the LOWEST paying salaried job!! When you break it down to hourly wage working only 40 hours/week, you make $.25-.75 cents more per hour than your leads. Leads do not actually have to do anything but get food manager certified! They aren’t technically allowed to train/coach/help others, their function is just to do the end of day paperwork when you aren’t there. And the Adult Beverage employees actually make more than you! To add insult to injury, they expect you to work 45-55 hours a week, which means you’re working hard but only to the benefit of the company! Benefits- medical/dental/vision higher cost than average and they only offer high deductible plans. You accrue 9 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 1 personal day per year, but cannot use vacation for the first 6 months- so if you are hired after June, anything you should have accrued since starting EXPIRES on Dec 31st and you start accruing from 0 hrs for the next year on Jan 1st. By far the worst benefits package I have come across. Hiring is done thru recruiters out of TX, so we have no control over who is on our team... and often the recruiters do not communicate well. I have had new employees just show up and I did not know they even existed. Also recruiters give incorrect info during hiring and the candidates are often surprised at how things actually work.

Advice to Management

Crossmark needs to realize how much pressure they put on CS’s and pay us accordingly!Take care of us and maybe it will help with the turnover rate. I hope leadership at Crossmark reads this review and tries to understand WHY many people pass up this position!

By far the worst benefits package I have come across.

Does CROSSMARK assist with or provide childcare?

Pros

None really maybe hour flexibility

Cons

They pay minimum wage, benefits are the worst i have ever had(i had better on obama care and cheaper too), theh expect you to provide excellent service and go out of your way and drop life for this place but can’t provide a decent wage, decent benefits and they only matched 11 cents to my 401k(most companies i have worked for always did .25-.50cents on dollar)

Advice to Management

If you want your stores to be decent and quality work stop dropping the minutes in each store and provide a decent pay, dont make us work with upper management without our personal lunches to run home and let my dog out(it’s illegal to force someone to have lunch with upper management when its their personal time) do not make employees pay for their benefits while on LOA, thats just pathetic. Ive had 6 shoulder surgeries and this is first company i have worked for that making me pay while on leave. Like all the medical bills and my car issues caused by this company isn’t enough you making me pay for the horrible insurance you providing employee. Time to find a new job. This place has been the worst place ever. And give your employees raises and bonuses.
