-One can work on different projects with international clients -Relative job security -Culture is generally of respect and accommodation -Some flexibility in hours depending on the project -Access to learning portal - Percipio -Good office facilities with free coffee and tea -Relatively flat hierarchy -Among best places to work in Canada

Cons

-Benefits and compensation is on the low end, RRSP match is only 3% -Limited growth opportunities especially for immigrants -Minimal or no reward for over performance

Pros

strong employee perks programme, probably one of the best i've seen with a whole host of perks to working at the firm from share purchase schemes, dental care, private health insurance and competitive pension scheme.

Cons

reliant solely on KPIs for performance of staff and any deviations or justifications for good work outside of those very bizarre indicators chosen are ignored and ultimately discarded.

Advice to Management

hiring several hundred people to your service desk to then discard then en-masse without providing them with sufficient time, guidance or resource to better themselves is just wrong. also one hour a month to dedicate to professional development of your staff is shockingly low.

Pros

Great Staff. Very good and qualified professionals. The shares sells well i the market. the company matches the contribution (3% ), Good school. Limitless opportunities to acquire knowledge

Cons

Poor Management, No pension plan, Very expensive insurance , the bonus is a joke, no policy of working from home. Salary is far from competitive

Advice to Management

If you care about the planet, how come Working from Home is not allowed ?

Pros

Very flexible wfh set-up Great benefits (share purchase, annual bonuses, hmo with dependents, life insurance, retirement, non-taxable allowances, devices etc) I am favored enough to be in a team with considerate, fun and light members

Cons

Low salary Slow promotion Upper management Location is not really accessible but has company shuttle

Advice to Management

Increase allowances for employee salaries. Many companies have now embraced remote work set-up so CGI won’t have an edge anymore. High attrition rate is due to low salaries. Better to increase salary than to waste money in repetitive hiring and training of new members.
