-work with very intelligent people -Compensation is a good - if you love Apple and believe in Apple you will do well here

Cons

- management in RE&D is all over the place -absolutely no work life balance - expected to be available at all hours of the day and night, including on vacation - combative company culture - if you don’t believe in the world of Apple it come off as indoctrination -poor onboarding - no defined workflows and for a tech company all the processes are very manual and subject to error - most of management sees themself as flawless while individual contributors flaws are egregious

Advice to Management

Understand the role and operation you are in charge of and be in charge of making sure the process runs efficiently. Make clear expectations of deliverables and realize that if requirements change, so too must the deadline. Treat people with respect and acknowledge successes just as much if not more that you over analyze errors. Make sure that people are treated equitably and respectfully.

Code quality wasn't that great for my particular organization

No follow through from management You get told there are multiple ways to advance but once you understand the internal hiring process it’s a road to nowhere at best.

Advice to Management

Stop rotating managers so much

Good pay and good benefits and culture and flexibility and work life balance

There is a good collaboration within the teams

Slow Promotions, Salary increase does not correspond to inflation / cost of living Low Salary compared to similar Companies Complicated internal application process for other positions
