I worked at Porter Novelli full-time for more than a year
Good client roster, great people working here that are smart and driven. Flexible work times during COVID, very little micro managing and employees are trusted to work autonomously.
Can be slow to move as typical in most corporate settings. Multiple rounds of revisions, checks and several upper management weighing in on each document can hinder efficiency sometimes (a bit too... top heavy- lots of VPs and upper management but few folks at lower levels to actually draft materials and implement plans on some accounts). This can lead to junior staffing working longer hours and feeing overwhelmed. Can be slow with promotions and you really have to drive your own career progress and hound people to lay out a plan for moving you up and get them to stick to it. Have to be very autonomous with finding someone to truly mentor you and continue to grow or else can get stuck in your role. A few solid had been told they were up for a promotion at yearly reviews and 9 months or so later were still waiting for them to make good on that move.
