Former Intern - Intern

I worked at GE for less than a year

Pros

Flexible working style, people are nice

Cons

Not much to complain, perhaps salary for an intern?

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at GE Power full-time

Pros

GE Corporate Culture is the best I've encountered after having worked for about seven firms in the past. I am empowered and supported in my work. I am allowed a wide latitude in organizing myself.... People are supportive and respectful. All these make my stay in GE fulfilling and enjoyable regardless of the stress. Also, it's fair employment practices are top notch - I speak from experience.

Cons

Bottom line, GE still has a bottom line. Divisions and even whole companies are occasionally closed down, trimmed down, or sold off.

Advice to Management

We need more support. Management has to organize Europe more effectively. It's getting chaotic.
