How to define a large size company, mid size company and small company?
This may be controversial, but I’ve seen cases where Indian leadership at the top can harm a healthy work environment through micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and poor work-life balance, pushing teams beyond their roles while cutting costs. After our UK management handed control to a new director in India, the team has increasingly been made to feel like underperformers despite consistent effort. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this!
Resigned from LTIMindtree in March 2026 with LWD in May. Despite being a top performer for 2 years and consistently receiving 4/4 ratings, my final rating was reduced to 1/4 after resignation, which impacted my variable pay eligibility. Disappointing experience, especially when my managers acknowledged my contributions and performance throughout the year.

A small business would be under 50 people, actually maybe less than 100 people. I would say mid-sized would 100 to 5000 people than a large company would be over 500 people
It is determined through the number of employees. Small businesses are usually defined with fewer than 100 employees; midsize enterprises are those organizations with 100 to 999 employees. More than that, they're considered large enterprises.
Yes, this is the correct answer. If you look on job sites, you will also see designations based on number of employees. Most over 999 are corporations.
